Slavery

 One of the strategies that cults use more increasingly as time goes on is the use of dark psychology to trap their victims.    They will analyze and  use your weaknesses against you in ways that you couldn't have imagined and the goal is to get control over you and for you to surrender your agency to them.   Once you get worn down  enough that you finally surrender to them then they effectively win.

They will analyze you and get you to answer a lot of personal questions where they will profile you and they will get an understanding of your strengths and weaknesses.    

For instance, if you had a childhood where you were shut down a lot and now have a reluctance to start conflict they will manufacture ways to get you to fail over and over to create a sense of helplessness within you while at the same time as breaking you of your habit of complaining.

They call it enlightenment and they say that your 'ego' is getting in the way of your progress.  What they really mean is that while they are doing nasty and abusive things to you, you are not supposed to complain.  They shut that down so much that it becomes a betrayal of ones self by no longer fighting for your equality.   The goal is over a long enough period of time that they will cause you to give up and become complacent with your own abuse.     This is called enlightenment when nothing bothers you anymore that abusive people say or do to you.    When you have no reaction then you are considered enlightened. 

This also has a side effect of creating a learned helplessness which they will capitalize on to make you more dependent on them.   As you get this mental block put in your head that you are unable to do anything or defend yourself it becomes a point of conflict as they try to create shame within you for not being able to complete anything anymore and not being able to defend yourself.   They may shame you and say you don't deserve a girlfriend because you are incapable of defending yourself how are you going to defend her?

This learned helplessness - they will encourage you to take risks and they will encourage you to open businesses and whatever else they can get you to try.   Then they will purposefully sabotage each initiative by making it so no one can go or support you so as each thing fails it continues to debilitate you from being able to take risks or do anything.  The goal is to make you so you are totally emotionally dependent on your cult and handler.

The kicker is that they then get you to focus on building something in which they will take the money from it and say that it is because of them that the business succeeds so as you build this thing they will send their press ganged members to invest their money into your initiative and this support can be withdrawn at the drop of  a hat.  So you in essence are in a compliance role where you depend on the cult for your livelihood and at the same time you must stay in their good graces as all times or else they will withdraw that support.

By doing so they wean you off of independent work and onto them as the major support of your life.  You become a voluntary slave the more they have say over your income and your life.
